Over the past year, AMQ has dedicated its efforts to continuous operational improvements, to enhance the dealer receiving experience and boost overall operational efficiencies.

Today we announce two significant changes in line with these efforts:

  1. Final Consolidation of Warehouse Operations: In December, we shared our decision to centralize our warehouse operations into a single location in Kentwood, Michigan. Starting April 1, 2024, through July 1, 2024, all new orders will begin to shift to our Kentwood, MI facility. We are confident this consolidation will improve operational efficiency with little disruption to our customer service.
  1. Lead-Time Adjustments for Enhanced Reliability: To further enhance the dealer receiving experience, we are adjusting our lead-time commitments. Effective April 1, 2024, we are introducing a new 12-day program, replacing the existing 10-day program. All other lead-times will remain the same. This strategic shift ensures that we continue to lead the industry in fast deliveries, with close to a 100% hit rate on commitments.

Why the Change?

We listened to feedback from our dealers and learned our customers expect fast deliveries, but, more crucially, they demand on-time deliveries. The introduction of the 12-day delivery option is a response to this feedback, offering our dealers a more reliable planning tool for their projects and reinforcing our commitment to meeting and exceeding customer expectations for lead times.
